I didn't want my afternoon to go to waste, hence i dated Meiyi out for a movie to kill my time before i go for dance. :) We ended up watching OVER THE HEDGE for MI3's showing times were pretty late in the night and she preferred the the cartoon over DA VINCI CODE. lol. The show's pretty funny and nice, bt it's a typical cartoon la. Entertaining and humourous, with the good moral values ie. family bonding and trust to boot.
I've taken notice recently that parents like to take their children to these cartoon / animated movies, regardless how young they can be. A little boy sat next to me. I thought that he would be really awful and restless, bt to my surprise he sat quietly throughout the show, apart from occasional questions and giggles. He's a sweet thing. On the contrast, a baby wailed his/her lungs out when the mom brought him/her into the theatre when the show has already started. Everybody stared at the family. Oh wells. Babies are uncontrollable.
Did a little shopping and walk-around in town. Seems like the Great Singapore Sale's already on the go. Many shops are starting their BIG sales. Far east plaza isn't an exception. However i found that their items aren't really that "worthwhile" or "affordable" after the discount and sale. Their quality and stuff doesn't match the price. The mark up's way too high. I could easily find smth similar or even exactly the same at a lower price. DUH.
Oh wells. Looking forward to GSS, the movies, DA VINCI CODE, VOICE, MI3, SILENT HILLS and many more... :)
